Trauma services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence

Over 60% of domestic violence survivors experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); many will benefit from specialist psychological support to process and recover from the trauma. South West London and St George's NHS Trust's Traumatic Stress Service offers support to people experiencing PTSD. More information about the different types of mental health services available to both adults and children within the NHS can be found here.
