Female Deputy Therapeutic Services Manager

This post is women only, the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1 applies

Woman’s Trust seeks an experienced therapist to assist the coordination of our person-centred counselling services for women affected by domestic violence.

Requirements

• To assist the Woman’s Trust Therapeutic Services Manager in her responsibilities, including holding delegated person-centred clinical responsibility in her absence


• To exercise responsibility that WT person-centred counselling service are delivered to a high professional standard and in accordance with the BACP Ethical framework and Person-Centred Approach


• To be responsible for the recruitment and management of all WT counselling volunteers, clinical consultants and project staff

Essential Criteria

• A diploma or degree in Person-Centred/Humanistic counselling


• Substantial clinical experience , especially with clients who have experienced abuse or trauma, and/or have complex needs


• Experience of working with women from black and other minority ethnic communities


• Experience of providing clinical supervision
