Chief Executive Officer, RISE

Founded in 1994 RISE provides innovative, wrap-round support to survivors of domestic abuse from crisis through to recovery. In 2016 RISE won the contract to deliver the Portal Service for survivors of domestic or sexual violence or abuse in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.   RISE support over 2000 people every year.


RISE  are seeking a new CEO with passion, vision and expertise to lead the organisation in the next stage of our development, providing the strategic direction and operational effectiveness necessary to deliver these services, maintain and develop partnerships and achieve financial sustainability.


The successful candidate will have senior management experience preferably in the Violence Against Women’s Sector or working in the field of vulnerable adults, providing leadership within the Charity sector, developing strategic and operational plans and with extensive experience of staff management and financial responsibility.  She will have a firm commitment to promoting and safe guarding women’s and children and young people’s rights, and to work within RISE’s feminist theoretical framework and its core values.
