Staying Safe in Kirklees is a Floating Support service for anyone living in their own homes that is affected by domestic violence. It is also for women who are moving on from a refuge or other safe temporary accommodation into their own home. The aim of the service is to provide a floating support service offering support to vulnerable adults and children to enable them to manage an independent tenancy.
The successful applicant will need relevant experience and the ability to relate sensitively and positively to families under stress, with a proven track record in working with families experiencing domestic violence.
Successful applicants will be required to have satisfactory disclosure through the Criminal Records Bureau.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role we will be considering female applicants only for this post in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9 part 1).
